First Argentinian wargame! But be advised, it is mainly a wargame for kids.

  • @Tapewormz: in other words, every game can be fixed / improved / developed further, but to make this game wargamer-suitable would require an amount of work that I doubt many gamers will want to do, especially since many other excellent games come without such burden. More importantly for my video, relying on such changes would be a leap of faith that would make my video a little to hypothetical. If a house rule or 2 can fix an issue I mention it in my vids, but here there'd be a lot more to do.

  • @Tapewormz: I accept your suggestion, and I changed the 'unfortunately'. Adding terrain rules that make the landscape more interesting will require some work... just assigning pluses and minuses won't do unless some serious playtesting is also done. Of course there can then be additional rules to make combat more interesting, to add more options, etc. Fact is that many other games already have them, and those things are not in this game yet, so unfortunately I can't include them in the review.

  • Hey at least its not a euro game

  • @marcowargamer Oh, I agree with you. I was more or less just suggesting it wasn't a terrible first attempt from a virgin market. If it's true that war gaming and gaming in general in that part of the world is relatively new, then I think the complexity and depth of the game play would be relative to the level of the gamers there. Hence the entry level feel of the game. Good review by the way. I like how you manage your close-ups on the components and discuss their quality.

  • @Tapewormz To clearify, by minor I meant that it can be fixed via house rules until such time there's an official revision.

  • The issue with the terrain bonus' and penalties is minor. It could even be revised in a later edition. I'm sure they'll take all these valid points from the community and reviewers like yourself and fix the game. :) Your description is a huge spoiler! 4th word is unfortunately "unfortunately"...lol
