The general feel of this animation is like watching a cutscene from the Sega/Mega CD version of Metafight. I've always preferred Metafight's story over Blaster Master, though the latter did had sequels.

I don't recognize the girl with the blonde hair. This was only the second time I've seen her. The first time was on the front of the box for the Famicom version, and I've never seen her during any of the gameplay footage I've seen.

ミハイルって裏設定？ファミコン版に出なかったな。
