  • I thought its going to bounce forever in Mars due to gravitational issues. By the way, how are they gonna be goin' back to earth? All of the capsules are left in space...

  • @cabalwele Probes like this don't come back. Only the data does :) If you want to know how to get people to Mars and back, search for "The Case For Mars Robert Zubrin" and watch the visually boring but excellent presentation.

  • Well like most thing in US politics, the president can only recommend something. If NASA is killed, it will be because the sufficient majorities of the House and Senate agreed and signed the laws that would kill NASA.

  • @puckerfactor1 America's best and brightest have spent the last 10 years battening down the hatches, afraid of terrorism, while the rest of the world gets free super speed internet and high speed rail. Meanwhile, IBM stops making stuff and just consults to the rest of the world on what Americans likes to buy. That's not liberals fucking shit up. That's greedy republicans cashing in on fear.

  • @cabalwele One does not simply remove the gravity on mars

  • This is GREAT!!!!

  • Dude... Space exploration is so badass...

  • 1:11 that's where it really picks up.

  • Nasa>military

  • @rgbfoundry Raun Paul in a perfect example of that sort of phenomena; the media blatantly ignores him and perpetually covers up any attention the people themselves give him. Certain corporations have stopped competing in the field of scientific advancement and are now competing in commercial products. Capitalism and competition amongst researchers has lead to NASA not being the failure of the Soviet space program; 99% of our rockets work.
