  • Her vocal technique in coloratura is unsurpassed. She handles the middle section with aplomb. Unfortunately the orchestra and direction let her down. The 'A' section sounds like it is wallowing in sludge. A pity as with the right conductor and orchestra she could have made a very good Giulio Cesare recording.

    Of course she has her fans and I'm happy for them .

    For me all her emotions are wrong , compare with Janet Baker
