Tommy Tutone. Jenny. 867-5309. Live on WGN Morning News. 867-5309, one of the greatest pop songs of the '1980s shows up in 2008 on the old number 9. That's a lot of numbers. I'm done.

  • I wish he would just punch that news anchor in the face..

  • @kdrew How do we know Alex isn't lying and Tommy telling the truth? Answer: We don't.

I'm not saying Alex IS lying. I'm saying we have more than one story, from people who were there, and we simply don't know which is correct.

  • @Shanedango32 Actually, if you listen to what he actually says in the video, he didn't take credit for writing the song. He said his lead guitarist wrote it.

  • Get Alex Call's book "867-5309/Jenny- The Song That Saved Me" on Amazon. This will teach you what really happened and how the song came to be. The story here is incorrect but let's not let the truth get in the way of a good story!

  • It's funny because he's not listed as one of the songwriters on this song. The lead guitarist(Jim Keller) and a dude named Alex Call wrote the song. Tommy Heath isn't listed as one of the songwriters anywhere. But since it was their only hit I am sure he likes to take credit for it.

  • Man, this news reporter is so fucking annoying. Ruins the whole vid (((

  • I saw these numbers at Duke Nukem, easter egg o_O

  • Then and now.. but this one hit wonder is still a hit.

Back in 1982, it was just another chart-topper.

In his more mature years, he sounds alot like more Springsteen.

    Well done.

    Thank you for sharing.

  • is the host kurt warner? lol

  • Hmm. Missed this one, WMG, you bunch of fucks.
