Ireland was told to 'have another go' at the Nice treaty afew years back. With the Lisbon treaty on the way, and the NO vote with the majority, will it be a repeat?
i made this vid to illustrate how well democracy functions in these times, and it's always the people who pay for the meal that the government enjoys ;)

Not sure about there being a party. Odds are that the other 26 will go ahead without us in some post-Lisbon arrangement not unlike the Lisbon Treaty. And Ireland, deprived of much of its influence, will have to travel in the slower EU lane. So much for Gerry Adams and his talk of Ireland "re-negotiating" the Lisbon Treaty.
Some of the "No" voters may then realise their vote was not such a good idea after all. By then, Ireland will have lost its Commissioner under the terms of the Nice Treaty

There'll be no repeat of the Lisbon vote if it was rejected. The government only got away with it after the first Nice treaty referendum because of massive apathy on the Yes side. There'll be no such apathy this time so they won't try it again. So keep yer knickers on...
