Recorded live at the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1975. I just love this song; it fits the band so well. Pure delight to hear the slide guitar by Gary and piano by Billy.

@FreddyClapton These guys are a true gem that not to many know about. They have amazing stories to go with the music. The openeing line in that smell goes Whiskey bottles brand new cars, oak tree youre in my way. The guitar player Gary Rossington who playes slid in this song was on a drug called ludes. He passed out behind the wheel of his Gran Tourino his foot pinned the gas and he took down a telephone pole, split an oak tree ( Which are solid trees) and did 7,500$ to a house in the 70s

@FreddyClapton Right on man. 2 B completly honest you can not go wrong with anything they ever wrote. I would put them ahead of Zep. Zeppelin is great but they have some songs I just wont listen to. Good Skynyrd songs... wow this is good stuff! i listen blues for ages! yet i never listen to lynyrd skynyrd. i dont know why :( i guess the name let me think it was some sort of redneck metal. but fuck me they are just what i fucking need! i just listened to my first lynyrd skynyrd song free bird. holy fuck im all exited.. thank you .. suggetions? wich one of their songs are great?

Awesome tune froma awesome album. They say Skynyrd was in a rut when they created that album, but I love it. So many good songs on that album. Cry for the bad man live has got to be one of the greatst rock songs ever recorded
