    Been a bike messenger for over 8 years (retired in '08).

    At the ripe old age of 31, I decided to see how well I could race compared to my local racers here in my province. I'm pleased to say that only after one season (won 2 big races), I graduated to cat 2 (only two categories lower than pros), and got picked up by a team. So within my own experiences, I have to say that being a courier helped me tremendously in becoming a more solid bicycle racer.

    Eat healthy, stay clean, train hard! Peace. :)
