Lara plays Sky Theme from Final Fantasy X 10 on piano & violin

Hi guys! Here's an arrangement of Sky Theme (Yuna/Tidus theme) from Final Fantasy 10. I really love this piece. It requires a certain control and stillness to play, and I did a few takes of this before I was happy with it :)

The piano part is based off these sheets http://www.home.no/liyinyang/sheet_music/TidusYuna.pdf (I wanted to do a vid where I could actually give a link to sheets) but I have changed some things, as usual :) The violin part is done by ear. The violin part is supposed to provide subtle backing for the piano, it is not the solo part here, that is why it is not overly loud...I think of this as mostly a piano solo.

to all the great players on youtube that record from an upright piano - i really wish i could hear it live on a good grand piano. it's a shame that lot of the quality and emotion is lost with the audio recording. lara, have you ever considered getting a better recording mic? if they cost too much, perhaps set up a donation fund? i'd definitely contribute!

@jaalin Hey, there is no way on earth I could ever afford a grand piano, and I really cannot afford another mic for now. I don't feel comfortable asking people for money either, but thanks for the offer :)

hey lara, i love your videos! i'm trying to follow in your footsteps, though i have a long way to go. i have a question, how do you line up your videos when you do two (or more) parts? i'm manually aligning them right now in adobe premiere, and while it works, i always feel i'm off a little, and it's hairy when i scale up to more parts.

@quantumslip I use windows movie maker...do one part at a time, so make sure video one is perfectly aligned with sound before you go on to video 2..that way you are working with less variables
