A movie trailer for a Robert Upham project about American Indian identity, history, and current affairs. He blends contemporary thought and music with the thoughts and struggles of our Native American ancestors. He attempts to develop a new thought about how we can establish a new type of American Indian community.

In Mexico an Indian (or Mexican) can grow up in a small city and some of the heritage is still intact all around them with pyrimids, art, food, and clothes. I wish to God that Indians were the majority here in America as well.

I AM MIXED WITH A WHOLE BUNCH NATIVE AMERICAN (ORTEGA,CHEROKEE, BLACK FOOT, AND RED FOOT),i AM BLACK, MEXICAN OR HISPANIC, AND WHITE. BUT I STILL THINK THAT THE EUROPEAN WHO CAME TO THE AMERICAS AND AFRICAN HAD PUT MISCHIEF INTO THE WORLD THEY COME AND DESTROY ENSLAVING PEOPLE I THINK ITS WRONG IT WOULD OF BEEN BETTER IF THE WORLD WAS LIKE OUR ANCESTORS WE WOULD BE FREE.TEYHA MEANS PRECIOUS IN CHEROKEE THATS ALSO MY MIDDLE NAME.

I LIVE THIS HORROR EVERY DAY! i have the vision what happen to our people everday sometimes i cry. it is sick, if every american new what happened so the could be here wake up people and discover the real people that where origanially here most dont know anthing about the Indians!
