  • First off did not use proper head tilt chin lift. Not look, listen, feeling chest to rise. Most importantly did not find xyphoid process- just setting up on the chest can cause more damage to the victim. Lastly in parts the main CPR lady was using the wrong hands- head hand(1 that's closet to head) is always the dominant hand on the chest. Good video but techniques need work.

  • This video was taken in an OR I believe the guy is standing by an anesthesia machine and an N-200 pulse oximeter. The anesthesia machine is a an Aestiva from datex ohmeda

  • @GreatKnight1000 No an AED checks the rhythm and after it's done checking then it tells you it is safe to touch the victim

  • Hey it's the voice of the old PHILIPS Laerdal FR2.

  • @amazonwarlord sorry for the double post .. it looked like my first comment did not go through. Ooops.

  • @5013John That is not always true .. depends on the hospital maybe even state you're in.

  • @nickster102559 that could easily be a doctor's office or nursing home as well.

  • @nickster102559 maybe it was a nursing home....

  • @sungod1019 They have CPR barrier devices, a bag valve mask, and an AED. Looks pretty good to me. Not all doctors know how to use the ACLS medications on a crash cart or how to do manual cardioversion with a defibrillator like a LIFEPAK 15, 12, or 20E or a Welch Allyn PIC 30, 40, or 50. Those are way out of scope for any doctor not ACLS certified.

  • @nickster102559 It looks like a doctor's office or other clinic, not a hospital. If it was a hospital they would call the code team (doctors/nurses trained in advanced cardiac life support) and get the crash cart (defibrillators and ACLS medication)
