Myself playing Le coucou on an electric piano.

By the time I made this recording I had already made several failed attempts. So the tempo may have increased just a tad.

  • Your right hand fingers should be more bent then straight out like that.

The rounder the faster, did u know that??

    And add DYNAMICS!!!

    That just sound horrible!

If you played this at a compition then the judge will be pissed off at you!!

if you played it with some mistakes but more dynamics then they actually would be much more pleased and happier!

can you believe it?? SURPRISING. REMEMBER that the mistakes are not marked as any thing but just on how well you played it and stuff!

  • I am very aware that I am a terrible pianist. I'm a very lazy and under-motivated person, as a result I have taken every available short cut when it came to learning to play.

  • You have mastered the technical part of this song. However, there were no dynamic changes whatsoever. Otherwise it was good.

  • That particular voice has no dynamic range.

  • If you go for an exam, they will take a lot of marks off for not having any dynamics. Even if they weren't marked on the music. Without dynamics, this piece would be more like a long study for grade 10.

  • I don't study music, so this has very little relevance to me. But thanks for sharing your wisdom.

  • @gdan666666 Good call my friend haha

  • too fast!

  • @strawberrytallcake00 you obviously have never seen any footag of Horowitz play then

  • Don't forget: harpsichord doesn't have dynamics because of it's build-up! So making dynamics on a harpsichord "sound" is wrong.

gdan: try piano or soft organ sounds, slower a bit, and make more dynamics for the upper notes! You have great technics in your hands!

  • maybe slower is better.... it is difficult to hear all the notes... and fingers of your right hand appears quite tense.

  • KUDOS! Screw everyone and their bitter comments, they write them because they cant do what you have! I think you played the song beautifully! I think that the reason you are getting these negative comments is because, like you said, you dont study music, and probably play better than most of them. I think its wonderful and keep up the good work. Play to enjoy it, not to impress brainless idiots that can only do whats written on paper.

  • I absolutely love this song.

You played it well but I think you should slow it down some. The beginning is more soft then you gradually play harder.

but kudos to you for playing the entire song so fast.

not even I can do that O.o

  • this looks very tense! my hands hurt just watching this.

  • don't know much about piano, but I'm just as lazy as you are when it comes to learning :p

i thought it was very good though, I love it :D

  • I'm surprised at all the bitter comments, I thought it was excellent. It's a really hard piece (for me anyway :P )
