The date was August 3rd, 1988. The Professional Bowler's Association conducted its finals of the 1988 La Mode Open at Red Carpet Celebrity Lanes, a bowling center located in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Dave Husted just edged out Ricky Corona in the semifinal match. Top seeded Joe Berardi was looking to win his third title of 1988. Does he accomplish it in this event? Stay tuned and find out. Part 2 of 2
Berardi was a great talent, fun to be around, and a class act.

That was probably the most sexiest crossover strike at 1:57 I ever seen, haha

I'm just in awe that he somehow managed to create enough angle to carry the two half-10 hits in that six-bagger.

While I think both bowlers are very talented, Husted is just a work of art and wonderful to watch. Great follow through.

I doubt Berardi's ball never got right of 20 on his crossover strike!!!

Impressive - two of the great inside shooters of the era. I get a real kick out of seeing the fallback shot. It's the one thing I really miss about bowling these days - the balls hook through just about anything.

4:27 really shows how Husted gets his hand around the ball.
