This is an exercise that can be adapted for eccentric training to help to decrease anterior knee pain. The only difference from what is pictured is that the athlete lowers slowly ( 5-8 sec) and then comes back up on two legs. This change would allow the athlete to get eccentric-only stress for the working leg.
