GROUP GAME DEMO: This is a group project. I am responsible for the animation of the "Merc" character (the orange, red and yellow character.) I also am responsible for the editing of this piece. Animated in Maya. Rendered with maya software. Edited in aftereffects. All models provided by epic games via the Academy of Art University.
WALK CYCLE: This is a 30 frame character walk cycle. Animated in maya. Rendered with maya software. Model by Andrew Silke via highend3d.com.
SAD WALK CYCLE: This is the walk cycle modified into a 54 frame sad walk. Animated in maya rendered with maya software. Model by Andrew Silke via highend3d.com.
DINO RUN CYCLE: This is a 14 frame run cycle. Animated in maya. Rendered with maya software. Model by Joel Anderson via highend3d.com.
CAR MODEL: This car was modeled with nurbs and converted into a low number polygon model. This car was modeled in maya. Rendered with mental ray using the approximation editor.
PRAYING MAN-TIS MODEL: This character was originally modeled in maya at a very low number of polygons. Model was imported into zbrush and refined. Textured and rendered in zbrush.
Rigging: I am responsible for everything in this scene.

in the academy do you guy's use 3d max too. and also do you guy's focus on more traditional animation or 3d.

I used Maya for all the animation, photoshop for the textures, Maya and Zbrush for the models and I put it together in Aftereffects.
