@drugsarebadmmmmkay hahaha someone didnt eat there wheaties this morning.They had to actually make a new m5 because with every introduction of a new 5 series comes an m5. It doesnt make any sense to make the old m5 when there is a new 5 series and it is supposed to be the benchmark of the CURRENT 5 series. They didnt make one for the reason you stated. And if you wanna argue then all I have to say is its been this way since the introduction of the m5.

Imagine if the ///M line stuck to its roots, today's cars would be truly amazing...too fat and 'user friendly' now though, which is why cars like the Mustang are nipping at its heals. Had you tried to predict that 15 years ago people would have laughed you out of the room.

for people that say auto is for pussy..get your fact str8 its dual clutch..lol..those opinion is irreleveant and garbage..its all about were you live and peference..all though ive had many manual..but living in cali i rather a dual clutch smg..due to traffic..and you would rarely reach high speed passing 140mph due to these hungry highway patrol out here..if i was in the european..sure why not manual.so please..keep those stupid comment like auto is for pussies to yourself..rubbish opinions

@CyberGTX09 Frankly, I've driven both the M6 and the V coupe and without a doubt, the V is infinitely better. If GM doesn't aim for the benchmark, then they are just trying to be mediocre. BMW had to make the M5 better because they were tired of getting their asses handed to them by some Americans out of Detroit, but no matter how you look at it, its an accomplishment for American cars.
