    With ours there was charge in it. It depends so you'll have to follow the instructions as they are very clear and provided in the package.

    From my experience....drawing from the pax is difficult and it took about 10-15 draws to get high....also if you draw to hard the tip gets hot....I've been hearing good things about the Arizer Solo....even though the Pax looks like an Apple product, it doesnt seem long lasting.
