Agreed, it just makes for such a more satisfying experience I think--you get the whole package, see the entire company, etc. I agree with Dant that I never get why Mere Gignon is left out of so many Nutcrackers--it's a fun, quick number that is a great excuse to show off your students and Nutcracker is about an 85 minute ballet anyway, it's not like it's too long (unlike Sleeping Beauty which is about four hours with intermissions originally lol)

I totally forgot these were in the original as well!! This is a fantastic production, but Cinderella looking for her slipper and the kids in the clogs stealing boots have me rolling on the floor laughing. Ahh these Russians... I also love that they included their students.
