In March of 2009, ECOS was invited to attend a meeting of zoo directors regarding the construction of a new amphibian rescue and education center in Panama. During the meeting, it was decided that a short video was needed for a meeting two days later to help raise awareness about the project within Panamas Legislative Assembly.

Having nothing else but a small still camera with crude video capture abilities, ECOS was asked to quickly interview a few stakeholders present at the meeting. The eight minute video had to be created quickly the following day on a laptop computer (narration recorded with no external microphone, etc.) but, the program has been used successfully in Panama, raising awareness and appreciation for this very important project.

The zoo director interviews are in English, but the rest of the narration is in Spanish. (Panamas top government officials are bilingual). Much gratitude from ECOS and the zoo directors goes to Ganglion Films for the inclusion of some field interviews and clips from their video Un Salto de Fe, about Panamas Golden Frog.
