I didn't watch the movie thought it was kind of a sell out plus it was kind to fast for them make the movie i thought they should have took their time casting the ppl who should played the character. . .jus they do when making the anime i actually meet the guy(fire lord's son) at apple store he awesome i think he had it on his computer wen he getting it fixed.

ppl who try to argue against racebenders use the above pictures to say their race is ambiguous (1) this picture isn't an acurate portrayal of water tribe skin color (2) it's not about the ambiguouity, it's about the casting call calling for white actors THEN all "other" minorities. thank you @FroLogic for talkin bout wut ppl r afraid 2

if you though season one was good, you won't believe the action in season three. each of the characters are given more depth. Katara learns something that almost distroys her will to fight. Season 3 Episode 9

haha I laughed so hard when he said, "That doesn't make me THE NUMBER 5..." lolz

@korben13 the last airbender is my most favourite of any tv series, except maybe the 1st season of pokemon, i love this show to death and i can agree this is awesome. The reason its awesome world wide, is cuz a brown skinned dude like me can see role models through people like sokka, and hakoda, more importantly heroes. Now i'm for avatar, but not the movie, cuz the movie is a blasphemy my lil cuzin asked me why sokka was white in the movie, how do i answer that?

In my post I said:
"@secnd2lastquincy
Zuko becomes one of the best allies in the entire series and almost carries the entire team by the end of season 3."
according to you I didn't know he was a villain in season one yet I knew he becomes good by season three? Don't you have to be bad to BECOME good?
It's not racist for someone of Indian descent to cast a villain with an actor of asian descent. Please.
Let's just all agree that the show is awesome.

OMG THEY"RE NOT ASIAN...I don't know what the populous even gives a shit, how about they use the racecard when it's needed. I mean come M is Asian himself.
-
@korben13 u do realize in the 1st season he is a villain, and not until the 2nd season does he become anti hero, and until 3rd season, hero. U need ur knowledge checked. Racebenders r referring to zuko as a villain in this film where he is a villain because it only shows the 1st season.

What???? story telling is M. Night Shyamalan's weakness?? wow.
Hey, it's all about Hollywood maintaining the status quo-- and that being in an epic especially fantasy type epic movie the heroes always have to be WHITE! And yes it is racist and even stupid that they go to the extent to whitewash something that wasn't even white to begin with. All I gotta say is look at what they tried to do with Neil Gaiman's book 'Anansi Boys' and you see the extent of their madness!

The irony doesn't come from the people who are focused on race, but from the people who call themselves "fans" or "loyalists" and not see the racial discrimination in Paramount's casting practices.
