Chapter 164: Torture

Nick's P.O.V.

If I thought hearing my sister's first strapping was hard, this is torture.

Nicki is curled up in a ball on my lap. Her hands are clamped down over her ears, trying desperately to drown out the sounds of Joe's screams. I had silent tears flowing down my face, but Nicki was full-on sobbing.

"KEVY, PLEASE I"M SORRY! IT HURTS, PLEASE S-STOP!"

I don't know how long this was going to go on. Kevin called Dad before leaving to find Joe, or rather...Dad called at the worst possible time. I think Dad has the worst possible timing when it comes to calling us. It always happens when someone is or just got in trouble. But Kevin had to tell him, and saying he was pissed is an understatement.

I heard faint smacking sounds, but no verbal response to the licks. Joe was sobbing. That had to mean the punishment was over, right?

My phone lit up, and I grabbed it off of the bed beside me. It was Kevin.

"Get in here now, please," It read.

I picked up Nicole. She wrapped her legs around my waist, her arms around my neck. She was really light, and I had no problem carrying her. I entered Joe and Kevin's room to find them both in tears.

Joe was laying on his bed, his bottom a horrible deep crimson, almost purple color. He was sobbing into Kevin's lap. Kevin was stroking his hair, tears falling from his eyes. Kevin looked up at me with pain filled eyes. He absolutely HATED himself for having to do that.

Nicole turned her head, and gasped in shock. I set her on her feet, and she rushed over to Joe.

"J-Joey? Are you ok?" she asked quietly.

Without uncovering his face, he reached out and grabbed Nicki's hand.

I retrieved the lotion from their dresser silently, and applied it to Joe's bottom. He yelped and almost rolled over at the sudden cool liquid.

"It's lotion, Joey," I said softly.

I rubbed it in as lightly as I could. His bottom was really hot from his punishment. I ended up putting more than usual on, the I sat down beside him. I returned his boxers to their place.

"I-I'm sorry Kiki, so sorry!" Joe said through his tears, which were just begining to slow.

"I already forgave you, now shh..." Nicki started to rub his back soothingly.

I could tell Joe was about to fall asleep. "Joe, you need to get ready for bed," I said.

He groaned but knew I was right. After crawling out of the bed, he walked into his and Kevin's bathroom and shut the door behind him. Nicki curled up on his bed while Kev got up to get dressed for bed.

"I wanna stay in here," Nicki said.

"That's fine, but you need to get ready for bed," I told her.

She bounced up and ran from the room. I followed her out, and walked into my room. I changed into a pair of sleep pants, tossed my shirt into my hamper, and sat down at my piano.

I glided my hand over the smooth keys, thinking about the black ones as a roll of thunder roared. Solemnly used by me, but such beautiful notes they play. I began to tamper with different combinations of the minors when a pair of arms wrapped around my neck from behind.

"Goodnight Sissy," I whispered.

"Night Bubby, I love you," she said softly kissing my cheek.

"Love you too," I said, just before she left the room. I returned my attention to the piano, and it hit me.
