I just hope he introduced the song as Syd's and that he was playing it in tribute. And I hope the drunken herds of frat boy type Chilli Peppers fans comprehended that.

He plays is soooo bad! Syd Barrett is the only one who can play this really good!

He did a really good job of this. My favourite moment of the gig with UTB and give it away straight after aswell. Brilliant show.

I think Frusciante has personal insight into what happened to Syd Barrett. He was fortunate enough to get through it and come back. My best guess is that he appreciates his good fortune.
