@DJSlurp1200 yea they do man ppl almost intentionally try to run them into the ground there good cars and if u take care of it and install stuff the way its suppose to be theyl last forever i love mine most ppl ticker with them too much or turn stock turbos up and dont upgrade injectors and etc

well rether u can make same hp idc i have a gt and an srt4 400hp gt 600hp srt my srt will not only spank anything around here but i still get 37mpg:)

@DJSlurp1200 i know a guy with a 400whp srt with 230k miles the guy that built mine has stock bottom end and runs 10s in 1/4 mile

@DJSlurp1200 i personally know someone who is at 511whp on a bone stock motor, with 230K miles on the car.. these cars are insanely reliable. if these guys you know were breaking shit, they had no idea what they were doing. anyone who knows about srt's is that they are engineered soo well. but either way, my srt runs high a steady 12.7 as is. my mustang needed alot of help to run those times... your 300whp stang wont run those times either haha.

you could buy a used 99-04 gt for 5-10k an spend 3k on it for a turbo kit 450rwhp on mild boost that could probably hang with modded stage 3s possibly? thats about an equal investment. just depends on your style really

stock vs stock neon wins....give an srt4 owner the same 4800 and you wont hold up.....problem with most srt4 owners is they boost the crap out of that lil engine....properly built will destroy those precious mustangs...point in case, my STOCK stage 3 355HP for $10000 beat a brand new $45000 Supercharged stang in a hwy race that lasted 5 minutes from peddle push to let off cus i was wasting gas...

Djslurp- exactly. That's all I was saying. Idk about $6500? Sounds like it was beat to hell or they have bad re-sale value? I was thinking most "nice" srt4 are about 13-16k? But I don't want one either so idk. Like I said you can buy this gt for 7-8.5k and put on a turbo for cheap and still get 25 mpgs.
