Interesting about how he goes on and on about how "the black church" is all about reconciliation with white people. Am I the only one who hears the oxymoron in that?

Well if you understood the history of the black church, you would know that black churches were created because of segregation. The black church is a carry over from those times. The problem with most white people is they don't think about the black church as being valid by definition as all other ethnic churches. The issue is that whites tend to believe that black churches are supposed to be extention the white church with no validity of its own.

Rev. Wright is one of the smartest Christians I've known. Those people who condemn him have no idea, no knowledge, no base and no understanding because they're not at his level.

well, I dont dont doubt the fact that he is a smart christian...the only reason why i dont agree with him is the fact that he is trying to mix up politics with religion...we've been makin that mistake for a long time and we should just stop it. How many people lose their lives over religion? nowadays, religion is teh most common cuz of war. so i may not be at his level but i can tell yu wat the impact of his words are.
