Thanks for watching! We have received lots of positive feedback and some questions about our experience and decided to put up a quick video on some of the "DOES NOT WORK" gotchas that we know about from our experience.

  • Does CO (conditioner only) count as no poo?

  • @mallorykay13 CO counts as no poo in my book! :)

  • You girls are goofy. It's awesome to see a mom and daughter having fun together.

  • @sunny21284 haha. thx. we DO have fun.

  • What about washing with just water?

  • @EddyARB -- the WO (water only) method seems to work for lots of people. Every once in a while I give it a go for myself ... but tend to have oily skin/hair as a general trait so the baking soda and vinegar combo seem to work best for me. If you give it a try let us know how WO works for you!

  • I've been doing this bs and acv no poo for a while now. I love it. I use a henna with just a spoonful of almond oil from time to time for deeper conditioning. It rinses out very well. No oily feeling felt behind at all. Also, I've been drinking RAW acv with my meals to help assimilate my food better and I've lost almost all my gray. I'm 50. I'm back to my younger golden colour. So, my hair is all golden, shiny and amazing!

  • I put olive oil in my hair once and it took days to get it out.

  • @mmoisella yes I have tried it since I live in Morocco. It works OK but it leaves somewhat a residue and you have to condition it very well.If you don't live in Morocco it may be expensive to buy online since it is heavy and the shipement costs add up. May be after oiling the hair Rhassoul would be a good idea or may be baking soda with ACV.Will have to try lol

  • how I got coconut oil out was saturate my hair in conditioner and then rinse it out then condition again like i normally would and wash that out and it took coconut oil out and that is harder to get out then olive oil on my hair

  • I rubbed flaxseed oil in my hair, and left it for a day, ( inside cleaning day) . I use just baking soda / water as shampoo, and vinegar / water as rinse. It rinsed out fine. Dont know why it worked, it just did. love your videos! keep them coming!

  • I love how my hair feels after I have shampooed, conditioned, and blown it out. its only after doing this that my hair is light and soft. My hair is super oily so I started using dry shampoos so I wouldn't have to wash it everyday. That works for a pony tail but it still looks dirty then I started putting baby powder and it makes it look ok but it feels so gross. I'm worried about trying the baking soda and vinegar my hair doesn't seem to adjust well. Any advice?

  • Don't put banana in your hair either.

  • You can use organic unsweetened cocoa powder for several days in a row to absorb huge amounts of olive oil/coconut oil and regular hair oils (or other mess ups) or you can use corn starch. I used a bath when I rinsed cocoa out and had a unsweetened chocolate and coconut oil bath! Don't need any oil for your hair if you don't over wash and make sure you brush it thru to the ends. Baking soda alone with an occasional vinegar rinse with frankincense and myrrh works wonders!

  • This seems like a great alternative to shampoo. I am trying to eliminate all chemicals from our home and I think I will try baking soda/vinegar for my hair. Thanks for the tips!

  • have you ever tried rhassoul?
