to be frank, it sounds a little weak on electric guitar. I think it works better on bass.

that's exactly it though, i like the "light" feel of the guitar for this. even when i play this on bass as delicately as i can, it still comes across as the banging, booming instrument it is. i've come to realize i'd rather play bass for what it's good for - rather then adapt it to things it's not.
