How useful are these gatherings? I mean really a couple of hours of bs to the people, meanwhile thousands of people are starving and or homeless! I believe the employment rate in CA. right now is 12 percent. The apathy and fantasy thinking needs to stop.

You've been in office for 2 years and have done very little.Meanwhile, your wife is taking vacations to Spain spending booku bucks on clothing and God knows what else while the once richest country in the world, slowing is now becoming a 3rd WORLD COUNTRY. Really let those words emblaze into your head. Because if it gets anyworse than it is, We'll all be knocking on YOUR door.

For me, those small gatherings are pleasant, and very useful. They help simple-people, as me, to SEE by themselves The President is a warm an& basically friendly man ; help (some of) his opponents to SEE that he's got Supporters, in ALL kinds of the population - and more, after they have been ceased to be crudely lied at, waffled & scared. The President, to be ABLE to SEE further than blogs' comments & 100% partisan assertions. TO SEE those people COMMUNICATE with him, as they do since years.
