A song about my brushes with fame with REM singer Michael Stipe. The close calls came at the Beck Tavern in Columbus, Ohio and at the 2004 Vote for Change concert in Cleveland. The song is also a metaphor for the elusive and perhaps illusory belief that when this happens, everything will be all right.
