A song about my brushes with fame with REM singer Michael Stipe. The close calls came at the Beck Tavern in Columbus, Ohio and at the 2004 Vote for Change concert in Cleveland. The song is also a metaphor for the elusive and perhaps illusory belief that when this happens, everything will be all right. Carolyn Q. and I recorded this as part of a poetry reading at the Little Theatre in Durant, Ok. Other William Lloyd Creations are available at my website: williamlloydcreations.com

  • I think this is my favorite of your songs. It's sooooo catchy!

  • I really like this one. Who doesn't want to meet Michael Stipe? I took one of your classes a few years ago. You made it very interesting! Thanks.

  • I enjoyed the class this semester, and I enjoy the tunes!!!

  • Great stuff! You have great talent! "Bruce was on stage with the E Street Band!"
