Houston E. Mull was a young farmer who lost his life in a vehicle accident at the age of 15. Each year during the first weekend in November outside of Marshall, MO, people from across the country gather in his memory and drive cattle in the old-fashion style. The drive raises more than $20,000 in scholarships for other young agricultural enthusiasts. This year a pink mule was riden to raise awareness of breast cancer and a US flag flown at the US Embassy in Baghdad was carried and then auction off.
This truely is a drive to remember... every year the cattle drive grows and I pray it continues, I was awarded the Houston E. Mull scholarship and I cherish it deeply. Houston was an amazing person someone I continue to miss! The cattle drives gives everyone a chance to celebrate the life of a truely amazing individual! I thank everyone who comes out it is really a wonderful time with everything that goes on and all the people that are present
