  • Hi, I'm sort of new to Pinnacle Studio 12 and I have a problem with the quality of my exported videos. I got the full license to BB Flashback Express, created a screen capture video and exported in AVI format with the DivX Codec. It plays clearly with sound on the DivX player but when I import it into Pinnacle Studio 12 the graphics get much worse. :/ Is there a way to get high quality without adding bit size? Thanks! :)

  • @BruskarDK Congrats that is great news...can not wait to see some videos!!!

    Cheers,

  • @NotTheColourSilver I have never worked with fraps before but I understand that it captures video. Is there a way to change that quality in fraps? I believe that when you put a fraps video in Pinnacle Studio it has to re-render to a format that Pinnacle recognizes and this may be the problem. Can you try capturing in a Uncompressed format using fraps? The higher the quality the better it will look in Studio. This is just an idea because I have never used fraps before.

    Cheers,

    Anthony

  • @CauseAndCatastrophe Great to hear that...so funny most people go from PC to Mac...glad you found Pinnacle Studio too.

  • how come when i capture footage from fraps and drag it into pinnacle it makes the quality worse? I would like to fix this and keep the files at a max of 2GB how do I do that?

  • Thank you so much :) just got mine today and it works great!

  • Thanks for uploading this! Converted from Mac to PC awhile ago, glad to be out of iMovie. This will really help me out!

  • @iTwixTorz Just create a black still and then drag it out as long as you would like black on the screen. This also works with other colors too.

    Cheers,

    Anthony

  • how do i make the screen black while im recording?
