In addition to mentioning how to do this in my other video called " ", I show a quick visual as how to orientate the plug when you only plug in 1/2 of the stator 4 prong plug into 1/2 of the wiring harness plug. You then make your own 2 wires and run them from the back of the key switch to the 2 "non yellow" wires of the stator 4 prong plug. The other 2 plugs on the wiring harness are not used...i.e. the wiring harness is now bypassed.

  • Thank. I learned this from someone else in our group. I've tried writing and telling people how to do it but knew it was time to use a video as an aid. I don't show the 2 wires coming from the key switch, but I think people will understand. Just look at the back of their key switch and see 2 wires leaving it. All you do is get about 3 feet of wire, crimp a female clip on one end for the key switch and a cylinder/barrel type connector on the other end for the stator connector. Harness Bypassed :)
