Catch Me (Nick Jonas Love Story) Chapter 8

I stared at the necklace, I couldn't put myself into words. I looked up, trying to get the tears to stop. Why make my life so hard? I got up and put the necklace back in the box. I fiddled with it, and opened my drawer and put it underneath my pile of folded clothes. I need to forget about it, I slowly walk out to my patio and sit down. Full moon tonight? I smile just a little bit.

"Is this a sign? Should I pick the werewolf..?" I chuckle to myself, I saw many stars tonight it was unbelievable. I smile, I know someone's watching over me knowing that I'll choose the right decision I hope..

"Anybody ever wonder, when they would see the sun up, just remember when you come up; The show goes on-" I get up my phone started ringing, I pick it up for the first time in a few days. I've been ignoring so many calls, but I have to pick this one up.

"Alexis..You alright?"
"Maya..."
"I heard about everything, I'm here for you."
I start sobbing into the phone and sit down on the floor, bringing my knees close to me.
"Its been so long, I'm really sorry" I mutter
"Alexis, I'm literally here for you.. I'm outside your house.. I knew I had to do this."
I chuckle, she knows how to bring her best friend in a better mood. I got up to see out my patio, and see her waving to me. She climbs up the tree and climbs onto my patio. I hug her so hard, as we're sucking life out of each other. By that time we both started crying. We haven't seen or talked to each other over a year, after the fame I didn't really talk to any of my old friends even when I needed them.
"Dont cry, you're making me cry more!" She said wiping my tears

Soon enough we were both sitting on my bed, just talking. There's a moment in life when all you need to do is vent, about everything to someone that cares for you. I told her everything, all the problems with Nick, how he cheated on me, and Taylor as well.

"Alexis follow your heart, you did that and now you're a famous superstar! I know it'll lead you to the right path."
"But...the thing is even my heart is confused, I don't know what to do.."
"Lex, just live your life! Don't let this ruin your life, continue on being the amazing singer you are!"
"You're right, I need to get to my fans, my music again."

That night we stayed up making music about heartbreak and everything. By the next morning we were passed out, but we got up to 6 songs! I woke up first and laughed when I saw her sleeping with her mouth wide open, and snoring. KODAK MOMENT, totally. I decided to make some breakfast for her and me, after that we decide to go out on a lunch date. Girls day out today. I pick up my phone, 52 unread messages.. I didnt even look at my inbox these past couple of days. I pick up my phone and click my speedial 8.

"ALEXIS. I'm so happy you're not dead!"
"Hahah, hey Selena. I know I've been just in a different world these couple of days. Girls day out with you, Maya, me?"
"Of course, I'll be right over. We can get ready together like we always do."

In an hour we were screaming in joy and laughing like crazy getting ready. Every single time a girls day out we decide to go to someone's house and get ready there. This day, no boys; sometimes girls just need that. When we finished getting ready we were wearing this:

We went out to a old time favorite Italian restaurant. Paparazzi of course followed us all the way there, and we open the doors to the restaurant. We got a table, and talked and laughed the whole time. Later on I look up to see the door opening to see Nick Jonas..soon enough looking at me......and right by his side is Nicole. Something hit me..now I definitely know my decision.
