Baby corn snake feeding on LIVE fuzzy mice. Vid# 2 (HD)

My 5 month old amelanistic corn snake (Leeroy Jenkins) is growing up from pinkies to fuzzies now. This is his 2nd video, first one eating live large pinkies/small fuzzies. We fed him 2 live mice. 2nd feeding is at (3:40) mark.

This video also features slow motion strike footage. Sorry for the shaky cam... still getting used to filming with manual focus DSLR.

For a newborn corn snake is it better to feed them one pinky or two? When should i switch to fuzzies?

@rsnukexiii1 Newborns grow at a faster rate and need the nutrition more than an adult would. When Leeroy was a baby, I would feed him 2 pinkies each feeding. Each feeding was about 10-14days apart. Switching to fuzzies is all about how big your snake gets. When you notice they are easily swallowing pinkies you can move up to fuzzies. Snakes can generally swallow prey that is 1.5x their thickness.
