You can take your pick from dozens of British sitcom's from the past forty years. As bad as it is, I don't think it's an exaggeration to say "Whistle" is funnier than many of them.

Not being from Britain I wasn't entirely sure what show they were parodying with "When the Whistle Blows". Was it "Bread" or "Only Fools and Horses"
