Nick's POV
When Joe gave me the idea, I was shocked. He hardly ever gave smart answers, but this one actually was a good idea. So I thanked him and ran to my bunk and since it was lunch time, I started texting Getlin.
Nick: Hi Get! Did u get into any trouble with texting in history?
Getlin: Hi Jer! Nope, no problems. Teacher just asked me a stupid question, I answered it like in a second.
Nick: very good.
Getlin: how did it go with the hot chick in english?
Nick: *thinking: what is she talking about? then starts remembering their conversation in the morning* right.. no luck. turned me down straight away. quite sad.
Getlin: well, its a lost for her then. but don't be sad, the right girl will come.
Nick: yeah.. probably.. u know i have to ask u something
Getlin: shoot..
Nick: well.. the thing is, my dad is coming to Dallas on business in about a month and he said i could come with him, so i said i would if i could meet up with u. so what do u think? let's meet up or not?
Getlin: *after reading the text talks to Charlotte about meeting with Jerry and then starts replying* yeah.. id love to. it would be even cooler if it would be on the same date that the JB's are coming on a concert here.. we could go together??
Nick: *starts smiling really big when sees her answer* yey :) i have to let my dad know then. i think it is on the same date as the JB's concert. yeah.. I'd love to go with you :) lets make the details certain later :) can't wait
Getlin: *yey! I get to go to a JB concert with Jerry. I just hope he isn't a loser* ok. ttyl. bye
Getlin's POV
I couldn't stop smiling. I was finally meeting with Jerry. After two years of texting and mailing we finally meet up :) And on a Jonas Brothers concert!! I couldn't be happier. Even Charlotte looks happy. Well she has wanted us to meet for a quite some time. her wish finally happened.
"I can't believe you are going on a Jonas Brothers concert with Jerry!! Its too unreal." Charlotte said.
"I just hope he isn't a loser or anything and looks really good. For some reason he hasn't send me any pictures of him. But still.. Let's hope for the best" I said smiling. Charlotte nodded. I started looking around at my lunch table. It was crowded as always. Being part of the so called "popular clique" was sometimes annoying. Mainly the lunch parts. Luckily no one listened to me and Charlotte talking. Then all of a sudden Chelsea started talking to me. She's the head cheerleader so she's like our queen.
"Hey Getlin! Remember, practice today, after class! And be there at the right time!"
Just because I was late once a year ago, she wouldn't stop rubbing it. Talk about annoying!
"Yeah Chelsea. I'll try and be there straight away." I told her and smiled. She nodded and continued talking to Sean, her boyfriend, captain of the football team. No surprise, right? So you guessed it right, I'm a cheerleader but no, I'm not a stupid bimbo. Actually, I'm the smartest one in my year. I have been on almost every competition, whether it was athletic or academic. I was very good only at cheerleading, I sucked at all the ball games. My life story is right now irrelevant, it will come out during the story, but right now, back to the Jerry deal. So we first talked almost two years ago. I wrote down the first conversation for you guys, but from there we started talking about random stuff. He told me about his life, I told him about mine (well, as little as possible because no one knows about my life and its safer that way). I have sent him a picture of me but for some reason he never wants to send me his. But soon it will change. We will actually meet. Face to face. I can't believe it. About the same time we started talking with Jerry, this boy band called the Jonas Brothers started their way into show business. Well music business, but whatever. They came and actually Jerry introduced them to me. I started listening to their songs and I just fell in love with them! When I saw pictures of them, I fell even more in love with them. They are all so hot and cute and talented and sweet and so on.. My favorite is Joe because he is really funny and clumsy like me. You think, if I'm clumsy how could I be on the squad? Well it's because I am not on the top of the pyramid. I'm a very good supporter so I'm always on the ground. Safer. Nick and Kevin are cool, too, but they are just not my type. Suddenly I heard the bell ring. Oops! Can't be late. Time for Math and then P.E. I ran to class, took my seat next to Charlotte and so the class went by and it was time for P.E. I mean there is practice after that, too so let's hope I survive today. Thankfully, we were running in P.E. So I could warm up for practice easily. Besides, I love running. Like Joe. Man, we have so much in common :) P.E's through. Now time for cheerleading.
