@MrCafiero I actually saw this mess of a produciton. It was ghastly, from the singers to the sets to the costumes, but mostly the singers. Richard Paul Fink was the one exception. After the originally scheduled singer pulled out at the last minute, Fink learned the role of Nabucco in three weeks. He had a couple of weak top notes, but overall he was very good considering the circumstances. Opening night, which was when I went, was bad beyond belief.

@MrCafiero (Part 2) Sylvie Valayre was dreadful, shrieking and off pitch all evening. Her Star Trek "Guinan" costume in the first act did give a bit of comic relief. The production also suffered the loss of Ferruccio Furlanetto as Zacaria, as well as the loss of Zeljiko Lucic as Nabucco. Still a terrible production, except for Fink.
