  • @Pouyan87 He always keeps the accent of his characters during promotions/interviews for his movies, in order to avoid confusing people.

  • why is he speaking in an american accent?

  • @SmokeyPre It's understandable that you want to call him Welsh since he was born there. It's just that he prefers to be called English, so that's what I'll personally refer to him as.

  • @BTTFMovie I meant he was from Wales, I know Batman is American & all that, I just meant the actor.

  • @SmokeyPre I'm not sure I do understand that. Because in the films he uses an American accent, so shouldn't he be trying to convince you that he's an American Batman?

  • @BTTFMovie You're not like the usual people on youtube that sprout crap.

    I agree with what you're saying but I'm Welsh & he's Batman.

I need to believe he's a Welsh Batman if that makes sense ?

  • @SmokeyPre I'm wouldn't necessarily call you arrogant. Most would agree however that where you are born does not determine your nationality, He was born in Wales, but he has English heritage. Calling him Welsh would be like if he was born in Japan and was referred to as Japanese.

  • @BTTFMovie He was born in Wales so I'm sticking with him being Welsh, call it arrogance if you must.

  • @SmokeyPre He's English. He was born in Wales, but was raised in England. His parents are English as well. He identifies as English, so I will refer to him as such. Lots of people make the mistake of thinking that he's Welsh, but if you listen to his natural accent during his Oscar speech, he sounds very English.

  • @BTTFMovie He's Welsh not English.
