Jesus Christ is my Lord however since i have taken up yoga i have had a reconciliation with satan. He spoke to me whilst i practised yoga, he told me that I didn't need to go to church anymore. he seemed so sincere that i now practise yoga everyday and haven't been to church in years. yoga has replaced bible class because i am addicted to the strong connection to demonic forces that it gives me.look at jesus robes they are very similiar to that of buddhist monks which tells you everything.
@ghatanjikar they donot understand because they have been imprisoned by foolish beliefs since a young age. and they are to afraid to explore, step out of the comfort zone to find out the truth for themselves.
Fear of after-life should not shape one's path. I think that there is nothing after this life, none religion can prove scientifically resurrection or reincarnation. It makes more sense to me to correct one's life and be a good person, and assimilate the good things that come from either this or other cultures. Catholics sin, beg forgivness, and sin again! I have never liked that :(
So you either follow the path of yoga or you follow Jesus Christ, but you can't follow both because they are two completely different paths. Both teachings cannot be true. You either die and reincarnate or you die and resurrect. You either work of your sins or you have them paid for once & for all. The truth applies to all people. Choosing a path does not make it the right one.
If you have a destination (e.g. a. hospital) and you've got two people in your car directing you, and you come to the end of the road. You either need to turn right or left to get to the hospital. Turning right will take you one way. Turning left will take you the other. There are no connecting roads either and you only have 15 minutes to get there. You have to make a choice. Both paths will not lead you directly to the hospital -just like reincarnation vs. resurrection/ works vs. forgiveness.
Yes, there R similarities with some of the moral values, but you are right about some exclusivity. The exclusive aspects are what make the two paths incompatible. In Hinduism you have to WORK OFF your sins through karma & reincarnation(Yoga is part of this path). Jesus teaches that "man is appointed to die ONCE, and then judgement." Jesus said you can NEVER work off your sins. The only way to be saved from sin is through Jesus Christ's sacrifice made on behalf of us.Both cannot be the right way.
Both religion hold high moral values. In fact Krishna says almost the same words as Jesus (Bagavad Gita) He demands exclusivity too in some parts!
In hinduism forgivness of sins is obtained through leading a pure life and correcting one' s mistakes. And Yoga is to attain a blissful state of pure love.
The message of both is reaching God and be good persons. (I as a freethinker learn from all)
