On another note, everytime I see Gene, I can't help but being reminded of his character Chris Keller in OZ.

yeah it was months later. I was thinking it looked SO fake lol which in the commentary they said it was a stick on beard. "gary's" hair is a ton longer too than in his next scene..lol funniest scene ever!!
