  • Love this - great workout. I like to do the same sort of woodland stuff, but have, so far, resisted the impulse to return to the wild to the extent that I remove my shirt and scare dogwalkers needlessly. I don't find wearing a shirt makes the experience less primal or reduces the benefits of the workout. But maybe going bare-chested is symbolic of shrugging off the last vistiges of the shackles of modern conditioning... or maybe you just get hot?

  • @hondars2thd Thanks for the kind words! RE: being bare-chested - It's just pretty much instinctual for me and if the Sun pops out for more than a minute I'll take the opportunity. No real rhyme or reason to it other than that.

  • Hahahaha that log smash was sooo hilarious! Grok on brother!

  • Thanks man, glad you found it entertaining!

  • NATURAL MOVEMENT SICK.

  • @almollitor i do tree work i'm an arborist and many of the motions in the last three films i've watched of this is almost everything i do every day i would love to see these guys do this for 12 hours a day... on the flip side short hard bursts will def help you stay in shape and i realize the aspect of this why pay for a gym member ship when the woods are all you need

  • @almollitor Agreed. Being a primal lumber jack would be most good. Most good.

  • Every time I see one of these videos, the same thought occurs to me: One could gain great strength and fitness AND do something productive by actually working in the woods. Rather than play with the logs, one could work as a logger. That kind of work that no one wants to do today could be amazingly healthy if combined with a sensible lifestyle.

  • FANTASTIK!!!

  • You sure got the primal aspect of this down. Very simian. Looks like a great workout. I'll have to find some woods like this around me!
