Chulachomklao of Siam Tipitaka Procession

Youngsters at Siam Saam Trai School in Bangkok transporting Chulachomklao Tipitaka Digital Preservation Edition to the top floor of their school. This activity is part of the preparation for the Tipitaka Presentation in USA this year, 2010.

The 39-vol Chulachomklao of Siam, 1893, is the world's first printed set of the Pali Tipitaka in book-form. The printing and presenting abroad over a century ago has inspired the World Tipitaka Project in Roman Script to follow.

The special edition shown in the video was the Digital Preservation Edition published in 40 volume (with additional Anthology Volume, Vol. No. 40) by the Dhamma Society in 2009.
