Dave Scott and Jim Irwin are looking at the Hadley rille off-camera to the left. Dave takes pictures with the 500-mm camera. Jim goes off-camera to the right as Dave begins a summary description of the rille wall. Still talking, he begins walking but trips on a rock and falls forward to the ground, burying the camera in the dust.

There is nothing "impossible" about taking a picture toward the horizon with a camera that is solidly placed on a box that is resting on the front of the astronaut as you see him doing in this video. He is not an artist trying to frame the perfect picture. He is a scientist taking a picture of the horizon and the contour of the mountains in the distance.

probably those are bright enough, if you go out at night and you have your outside light on its too hard to see stars, sometimes i cant even see a star exept a few big or not at all..
if you use your hands around your eyes like a "telescope" after a few time you may see some stars XD

I wish Apollo 13 would be as successful as 14 and 15. It could have been so funny to see Lovell and Haise on the moon:-D

What a nostalgy! I met Dave two years ago, he was giving a lecture in Johnson's. He was the one who told me to apply to the space program. Apparently, I don't have enough stick time for them, but I'm getting there:-) Love the man! Brilliant mission, by the way!
