Piccolo is like the easiest flute to get 16th and 32nd notes out.

top left is piccolo
top right is flute
bottom left is alto
bottom right is bass.

So your 4 flute family members, if I am not mistaken, are an alto, C flute, wooden piccolo and metal piccolo. Right? Or is the instrument with the wooden head a Db picc?

I don't think I did it that well...sigh!
If you hunt around Youtube, there's a really good performance of this piece in its original wind quintet form.... search for "Ugros by Ferenc Farkas".
You'll like it as much as I liked playing it~!
