Lightnin made it kool to be from a small town in Texas. I mean everybody talk about Austin (where I live these days actually...) and Dallas, Houston... but man... those are big cities... Lightnin came from the tiny little blips on the map... I LOVE LIGHTNN HOPKINS!!!!!!!!!

@NoRosesForMe As a 14 year old ,just discovering the blues in 1965 he was pretty special to me ,specially as everything seemed to be about 'Electric' at the time...never heard anything like him..and taught me a lot about timing...it's what you want it to be....The hits on my Lightnin' clips are starting to mount up...Doing my best to spread the word
