How to make Whoopie Pies at Home | Williams-Sonoma

To make whoopie pies at home, all you need is the Williams-Sonoma Whoopie Pie Pan, which creates perfectly sized pies, your favorite cake mix and some cream cheese frosting.

In this video, Kara takes her favorite red velvet cake mix and puts one scoop of the mix in each of the Whoopie Pie Pan wells. She then bakes the whoopie pies for several minutes. Once the pies cool slightly, Kara easily pops them out of the pan and pipes the cream cheese frosting onto the pies. Once the pie is covered in frosting, Kara then sandwiches another pie on top, creating the perfect whoopie pie.

i'm aware that you have to promote the whoopie pie pan but couldn't you have bothered with an actual recipe to show its use? customers who plan to buy that overpriced pan are much likely to bake real food and not cr@p outta box, you know!

I usually use a jelly donut mold pan which works as well but I didn't know Williams-Sonoma even had a whoopie pie pan very cool to know!
