i got referred to this because I watched a Raein video, what language is this in? They're really having a 90s revival in Europe huh?

@Cdubzhappy : If you read the description, you'll probably know what's language it is about. I don't think there's a 90's revival in this genre, it's a genre in itself, kind of screamo but in a melodic and complex way, it's something between hardcore and posthardcore which could be dated from the very late 90's but rather from the early 2000's. It has nothing to do with oldschool hardcore or something like that.

@Bawaa666 : ??? Miss May I are for teenagers and neometal nostalgics, how can you compare a experienced and acclaimed screamo band to this horrible, flavour-free band. Screamo isn't bad metal with some idiots screaming here and there thinkinh they're bad as evil. Screamo is way more complex and talks about emotion, not muscles and MTV-like videos. Try real screamo bands, Envy or Amanda Woodward and forget about metal 'coz Miss My I is (bad) metal, not screamo.

@pierolivio These guys are acclaimed? Because I'm pretty sure just about nobody knows about them. And MMI is "flavor-free" and are idiots that think they are "bad as evil"? What in the hell does that even mean? MMI is unquestionably more talented than this band. Nothing I have heard from these guys is that deep or complex musically, and they aren't really even that emotional. I like screamo, but these guys are just whining and aren't anything like you described. I'm speechless honestly.

And of course Daitro they're whining sometimes because screamo is about emotions of all sorts not about muscles, growls and annoying drum solos... you're probably speechless and deaf as well. They're acclaimed and this LP is one on the best in its genre but you need to have some real screamo background in order to be aware of it. Comparing Daitro to MMI is comparing Picasso to your drawings

@Bawaa666 Miss May I isn't even comparable to these guys, or the REAL Screamo Genre. These guys are REAL Screamo, not that mainstream Metalcore crap labeled as Screamo because they want people to think it's super emotional. You can feel and hear the emotion in bands like this. It's not just empty words written about love. Screamo bands put their hearts into this music, and they feel it, they don't do it to make it big and get on a major label and make money like Metalcore groups.

@SkaBoss55 I've never once heard anybody refer to MMI as screamo, and I'm pretty sure MMI doesn't want to be labeled as screamo themselves, because they clearly are not screamo, at all. As for talent? MMI destroys these guys. Don't bash on a band because you want to act like an emotional pussy. You have completely turned me off this band I thought I might like. Congrats.
