Three Opry legends play "Faded Love" and "Liberty" at Jesse's Pick Inn in Gallatin, TN, July 14, 2008. Ernest Ferguson an IBMA Pioneer of Bluegrass and Opry and Louisiana Hayride mandolin player for Kitty Wells, Johnny & Jack, the Bailes Bros., and Grandpa and Ramona Jones back in the 40's celebrates his 90th birthday with Jesse McReynolds also an IBMA Pioneer of Bluegrass and renowned cross-pickin mandolin player. Earl White is the Grand Ole Opry fiddler that backs-up the Opry cloggers and has played with Hawkshaw Hawkins, Jean Shepard, Marty Robbins, and Porter Wagoner. Kayton Roberts former long time steel guitar player for Hank Snow performs MC duties for this special event.
I remember Earl White playing on the Grand Ole Opry with the Opry Square Dancers, the night that I was on the Grand Ole Opry 23 April 2005. Best Wishes LittleCountryDJ

This was actually not only to celebrate the birthday of Ernest Ferguson, but also was the Hawaiian Night that we have annually for our Country 101 meetings in Gallatin. That is why Kayton Roberts (steel player for Hank Snow for 31 years and moderator of this song) is wearing Hawaiian apparel. I am the man in the background you see walking back in forth delivering messages and doing some of the tech work. It was our first night here.
