This is a death sequence I keyframed in Character Studio for 3D Studio Max. It was entirely hand animated as a screen test and to test my skills.

  • How did you get the fingers on there? The bi ped model has these stubs labeled as fingers, but I'm not sure what to do with them? Help, please?

  • @Gr8gabe The fingers were just there. I haven't used character studio for a number of years now, so I'm not up with the latest version.

From memory, you have to enable them when you create your biped, like enabling a tail etc. You might be able to enable them in the modifiers rollout.

  • Completely keyframed, with no mocap data at all, the first time you use the software, from the point you open the software to the point you close it?

    Try again buddy.

  • A few hours of tweaking and moving keyframes etc.

I don't even have the original file anymore. Stupid HDD crash... :(
