I am uploading this short clip from the finale of The Coronation of Poppea as an advertisement for University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Opera Theatre's upcoming production of ORPHEUS IN THE UNDERWORLD. Though completely different kind of piece is presented here, you could still get the sense of what to expect, if you do not know much about the UWM Opera Theatre - like how good the singing quality is, how good the set/costume is (though costume will be better this year, as we welcomed the dedicated costume designer this year), and how cute and eligible a bachelor the conductor is.
This year's performances will be on January 30, 31, and February 1, 2009. For more information, please go to;

This particular clip is from the final scene of Poppea ("My beloved (Pur ti miro)"), into the curtain call. Performed by the UWM Opera Theatre, with UWM Baroque Chamber Orchestra conducted by myself, in January, 2008.
Great singing... too bad it had to be in english though!

Nice, good version of double soprano, they sound great. You can really see the difference from tenor Nerone compared to Soprano ;p.
