The Orange Tiny Terror is built around a two stage preamp that delivers almost the same amount of gain as a four stage preamp. At mid gain settings the Tiny Terror is pure vintage rock n roll ala Black Sabbath. Crank the gain some more and get into some more modern rock tones. The clean tone is crisp and clear and the Tone control is extremely usable in all ranges. The addition of one 16 ohm and two 8 ohm outputs means the Tiny Terror can plug into the cabinet of your choice. @nichr225256 This is not true at all. There are plenty of 6L6 tube amps that hardly distort at all. My mesa boogie lonestar has clean headroom out the wazzoo. I've played jazz standards completely clean with the amp at 6 or 7 for a club. But many brittish amps like orange and marshall dont clean up
